Ham BarLocated next to Southern Art restaurant and Bourbon Bar at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, Ham Bar is a unique southern concept artisan ham-and-charcuterie bar showcasing regional country hams. Offering over 14 options of smoky, salty, dry, sweet and soft textured custom cuts, Ham Bar introduces guests to the long-standing tradition of ham tasting. Direct from the South's most unique farms, including Caw Caw Creek, Friendly, Olli, and Surryano, our selections are served with house-made mustards, jams, and toast, and pair perfectly with a hand-crafted cocktail or tasty bourbon from Bourbon Bar. The ChefCelebrity Chef Art Smith loves bringing people together through food. Executive Chef and co-owner of Southern Art and Bourbon Bar, Smith is passionate about creating cuisine that is authentic, healthy and makes people feel good. Smith is the author of three award-winning cookbooks - Back to the Table; Kitchen Life: Real Food for Real Families; and Back to the Family, and cooks for specials events around the world. He was once the personal chef to Oprah Winfrey. Smith has made several television appearances including ABC's Lady Gaga Thanksgiving Special, Top Chef and Top Chef Masters, and has made appearances on Iron Chef America, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Nightline, Fox News, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, BBQ Pitmasters, The Dr. Oz Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He has appeared on the cover of Parade magazine and featured in Cooking Light. Art Smith has received an Honorary Doctorate of Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University, North Miami Campus and the culinary trade's top awards. Chef Smith was inducted into the Chicago Culinary Museums Hall of Fame in 2010 and named Chicagoan of the Year in 2007 by Chicago magazine. That same year, the James Beard Foundation named him Humanitarian of the Year. Smith loves to cook and love to eat with friends - to share food and love around the table. Smith is the also founder of Common Threads, a non-profit teaching children to cook wholesome and affordable meals. Through hands-on cooking, he teaches kids how fresh foods can help prevent childhood obesity, and about diversity through the celebration of our cultures and cuisines.
