Q: What is VAT?
A: VAT stands for "value added tax." This tax is assessed by the governments of many countries and regions outside the United States. Please contact the hotel directly for information regarding VAT for your reservation.

Q: How much are resort fees or service charges?
A: Resort fees & service charges vary by hotel. These fees & rates can be found on the Select a Rate page. These fees will display again before you click the "Book Reservation" button.

Q: How do I see rates or prices in a different currency?
A: You can find the option to view rates in a different currency at the top of the Select a Hotel page. Under Change Search, click the "Currency" button. Select a 3 digit code from the pull down field, and all rates through the rest of the booking will display in the currency of your selection.

Q: What is the Best Flexible Rate?
A: Our Best Flexible Rate is the least restrictive publicly available rate for any given room type at the time the reservation is made. While lower rates may be available, they might require payment at time of booking, a minimum length of stay, or will be non cancellable or refundable. On the Select a Rate page, you can scroll through the rates until you find the Best Flexible Rate. If it does not display, it might not be available.

Q: What is a no show?
A: A "no show" is a term used to describe when a guest does not check-in on a reservation's arrival date, and does not cancel prior to the cancellation deadline.

Because a hotel guarantees to hold your room, and it remains unused, Hotels will charge a no show penalty fee, after check out time the day after the scheduled arrival date. This penalty is typically the cost of the first night's room and tax, however it can include the cost of the entire stay. The penalty is charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

If the reservation was booked for more than one night, the remaining nights of the reservation will be cancelled.

The cancellation policy is detailed during the booking process and your agreement is required before the reservation is complete. When booking a reservation, you can find the cancellation policy on the Select a Rate page, and prior to clicking "Book Reservation."

Q: How do I get a reservation confirmation email?
A: You should receive a reservation confirmation email to the email address used when booking the reservation. If you did not receive the email within a reasonable time, you should check your spam folder. You can request to have the email resent to you from the Manage Reservations page.

Q: What is the Book Early and Save Rate?
A: Book Early and Save is a discounted rate that requires full prepayment and is non refundable. Agreeing to these restrictions allows you to book a lower rate. Find this rate option and more on our Select a Rate page.

Q: Does your hotel offer family rooms?
A: We are pleased to welcome your family or larger party at our hotels. Suites within any of our IHG hotels will often be the most viable option since they offer additional square footage for extra space and allow for more guests to safely occupy the room.

Our extended stay brands, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites offer all-suite accommodations making them often an ideal option for families or larger parties traveling. Alternately, many of our hotels within the United Kingdom offer Family Rooms specifically suited for families traveling together. When booking your reservation, please review the capacity of guests the room will allow prior to booking. This will ensure your family or larger party can be comfortably accommodated without any extra hassle or inconvenience once you arrive.
